My work has been published in National Geographic, Scientific American, Mother Jones, The Guardian, The Texas Observer, El Paso Times, San Francisco Chronicle, Inside Climate News, Slate, Kaiser Health News, Scienceline, Animal Político, Revista Gatopardo, The Washington Post, and Vice News.
I majored in Politics at the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) in Mexico City and have used data to write about health, climate, gender, politics, and violence.
I also graduated from the Science, Health, and Environmental Reporting Program (SHERP) at NYU.
For over three years, I coordinated the data journalism done by the Mexican non-profit Data Cívica.
